Normally, most would think that a character like Shayla Shayla would not require an Opt-Out. She's a fairly generic, run of the mill femme fatale from a mostly PG young adult's anime back in the 90s. No horror, no guts, only a little blood. Just your standard fare. However, I have come across an element that sometimes cause others to be uncomfortable with her as a character.
Shayla Shayla is more than mildly homophobic, and displayed as such in the original OVA and its sequals. Usually this is done for laughs, but the character can be at times judgmental, rude and even violent when a woman makes a pass at her. It's a side of the character I choose not to 'dumb down,' so if you do not wish to encounter homophobia in a character please note it as such here (or really anything else for that matter.). Comments will, naturally, always remain screened.
